In a world full of bands with turntables and laptops, few pure jam bands have gained a following quite like The Werks. The Ohio based band has been rocking out since 2005, traveling across the country putting together some of the best shows on the scene today. The four piece band is getting ready to embark on their upcoming ‘Clockwork Tour’, which hits New York’s Bowery Ballroom on October 26.

If you haven’t seen The Werks yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. These guys seamlessly weave in and out of songs, always throwing in fun covers, exploratory jams, and funky riffs. They’ve made a name for themselves through relentless touring, high profile festival gigs (including their own), and a great tape trading community, due to the diversity of their set lists.

In the past, they’ve played festivals like Summer Camp, Camp Bisco, Wakarusa, and Electric Forest, in addition to hosting their own festival, ‘The Werk Out‘, in their home state of Ohio.
