Pete Townshend told London’s Evening Standard that The Who will be retiring from the road after their 50th anniversary tour.

“For the 50th anniversary we’ll tour the world. It’ll be the last big one for us. There are still places we’ve not played. It would be good to go to eastern Europe and places that haven’t heard us play all the old hits.” Said Townshend in an interview. He and other surviving member Roger Daltrey will be working on solo tracks in the meantime, but will be celebrating The Who with their 50th Anniversary tour in 2015.
