The Wood Brothers have announced an 18-show spring tour spanning the Gulf Coast, Texas, Southwest, and West Coast. The Grammy-nominated trio will mark a milestone year as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album Ways Not to Lose while continuing to tour behind their latest critically acclaimed release, Puff of Smoke.
The tour is set to kick off March 26th at the legendary Tipitina’s in New Orleans before visiting Houston (3/27), Dallas (3/28), Oklahoma City (3/29), and Santa Fe (3/31). Then in April, the band will head to Colorado for shows in Beaver Creek (4/1), Denver (4/2), Aspen (4/3), and Grand Junction (4/4).
A detour through Scottsdale, AZ (4/30) will carry the trio into a May California run with stops in Pioneertown (5/1), Solana Beach (5/2), Ventura (5/3), and San Francisco (5/5). Finally, the tour will travel up the West Coast, stopping in Medford, OR (5/6), Portland (5/7), and Seattle (5/8) before wrapping in Vancouver, BC on May 9th at the Hollywood Theatre.
Artist pre-sales will begin Wednesday, January 15th at 10 a.m. local venue time, with the general on-sale following Friday, January 17th at 10 a.m. local time. Scroll down for a full list of dates and head here for tickets.
This spring tour follows the band’s previously announced winter tour dates beginning in late January, which include performances across the Northeast and Midwest, featuring stops at The Eastern in Atlanta, two nights at Asheville’s Orange Peel, and Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.
The band was also recently featured in The A.V. Club’s A.V. Undercover series, performing a cover of “Maps” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
