Goldenvoice has announced This Ain’t No Picnic, a new music festival set to take place on August 27th and 28th, 2022 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
The veteran concert promoter, which hosts such large-scale festivals at Coachella, Day N Vegas, StageCoach, and more on Friday announced the new event along with its inaugural lineup, which is headed by LCD Soundsystem and The Strokes.
The eclectic This Ain’t No Picnic 2022 artist roster also features feature Phoebe Bridgers, Jorja Smith, Jungle, Le Tigre, Beach House, Kaytranada, Isaiah Rashad, Turnstile, Descendents, Mac DeMarco, Idles, Sparks, Circle Jerks, Caroline Polachek, Slowthai, Courtney Barnett, Tinashe, Yves Tumor, Honey Dijon, Sleep, Four Tet + Floating Points, Earl Sweatshirt, and more.
In addition, DESPACIO—the custom built disco sound system designed by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and his team—will be running all weekend long at the event. Read more about DESPACIO, powered by McIntosh, here.
Ticket pre-sale for the inaugural This Ain’t No Picnic begins Thursday, December 9th at 10:00 a.m. PT. If any inventory remains after pre-sale, tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. PT. Sign up for pre-sale access via the festival website.
