One notable appearance came from the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir and Jerry Garcia in 1982, the year he started on Late Night With David Letterman. The quirky duo talk about the early days and the acid tests (well, what they can remember of it), the phenomenon of Deadhead culture and more before playing “Deep Elem Blues” and “Monkey and the Engineer”.
