Tipper gave fans at his recent Denver Thanksgiving run a preview of what’s to come for the enigmatic British DJ’s 4th of July weekend at The Gorge Amphitheater. Postcards of the lineup handed to Tippsgiving attendees at the Fillmore Auditorium revealed a collaboration with Android Jones, a sunrise set, and additional performances from Shpongle, Ott., and many more.
Many fans took to social media to share the phase one lineup in the absence of any official announcement from the soft-spoken Tipper camp. The July 4th–6th, 2025 gathering will include three sets by Tipper, who announced earlier this year that he would stop touring at some point in 2025. The weekend will kick off on Friday, July 4th as Tipper reunites with VJ Android Jones for an “OG Wacom Set,” recalling the pair’s 2010s collaborations when Jones would use a digital Wacom tablet to create live visuals in real-time. On Saturday, Tipper will stage a twilight set before the weekend culminates with an ambient sunrise set on Sunday, a first for Dave Tipper at The Gorge.
In addition to three nights from the host, the July 4th event will include a Shpongle Simon Postford live set, a twilight performance by Ott., and a cosmic twilight set by LTJ Bukem. Quanta, Globular, Badun (two sets), Somatoast, Supersillyus, Evac, Hudson Lee, and Herbalistek round out the remainder of the phase one lineup. Tickets for Tipper at The Gorge are on sale now here.

After spending decades as a driving force in electronic music and topping festival lineups around the world, Tipper announced his impending retirement from touring with his team stating his final shows would come “sometime [in] late 2025.” In the announcement, the reclusive DJ’s management revealed upcoming TnF events for Labor Day Weekend 2024—which took place across three nights at the Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, AL—and the 4th of July run at The Gorge. They have not indicated that the Gorge run will be his final shows, and, though unconfirmed, it is widely believed that another Labor Day Weekend engagement in 2025 will be the final sets.
