Joe Russo’s Almost Dead guitarist Tom Hamilton will host a new radio show on SiriusXM‘s Grateful Dead channel. Goin’ Down the Road with Tom Hamilton is set to premiere on Monday, December 15th with an episode featuring special guest Chris Tomson of Vampire Weekend and Taper’s Choice.

Each episode of the monthly program will showcase a curated selection of music, including recordings from the Dead’s original 30-year run and the members’ more recent projects, handpicked by Hamilton and a rotating lineup of special guests. The show will also highlight contemporary artists inspired by the Dead in the “Descendants of the Dead” segment. January’s episode will feature bassist, producer, and Blue Note Records president Don Was.
