Finally, someone says what we all were thinking.

Neil Young’s new PonoPlayer definitely looks very different from your average digital music device, but according to Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, it looks like something we’ve all seen—a Toblerone chocolate bar.

Reznor discussed Young’s new high-quality music player with NME, comparing it to the triangular sweet treat:

“Anything that elevates music back to where it should be is inherently cool. I have great admiration for Neil Young as an artist. But as a device I can’t pretend it doesn’t look a bit like a Toblerone.”

With 12GB of memory available to sotre anywhere from 100 to 500 high-resolution digital albums, the PonoPlayer was born out of Young’s quest to preserve quality by allowing listeners to hear music as close to its original recorded resolution as possible.
