A new 100-minute documentary about Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, Between Me & My Mind, is set to premiere at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Friday, April 26th, as part of the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.

Following the world premiere of Between Me & My Mind, Trey Anastasio Band will take the Beacon Theatre stage for a special performance.

The forthcoming documentary was directed by Jamie Schutz and Steven Cantor, and produced by Schutz. A long time Phish fan since 1992, Schutz started trading tapes and dreaming of a career in film. Now, 24 years later, Between Me & My Mind marks his feature directorial debut. Canton, a veteran filmmaker and fellow music lover, has directed a plethora of critically acclaimed documentaries including Dancer, Willie Nelson: Still Is Still Moving, the Oscar-nominated Blood Ties: The Life & Work Of Sally Mann, the ESPN 30 For 30 Chasing Tyson and many more.

The documentary description reads,

Driven by a constant need to create, Phish frontman Trey Anastasio takes on new projects, including some of his most personal music to date as well as Phish’s ambitious New Year’s Eve show at Madison Square Garden.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival is set to run from Wednesday, April 24th through Sunday, May 5th.

Tickets for Between Me & My Mind and the TAB performance go on sale Tuesday, March 19th at 11 a.m. (EST).
