Jack Antonoff hosted his annual Ally Coalition Talent Show on Monday night at NYU’s Skirball Center. The event brought together an unannounced lineup of diverse artists to support homeless and at-risk LGBTQ+ youth through the nonprofit founded by Antonoff and his sister Rachel. This year’s surprise roster included Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, who made his second TAC Talent Show appearance, Florence Welch (Florence + The Machine), Hayley Williams (Paramore), Bleachers, who once again served as the house band, and more.
Last year, Anastasio performed an emotional rendition of Mitski‘s “My Love Mine All Mine” (which he praised as “the most beautiful romantic song of the decade”) and contributed guitar and vocals to a cover of Rufus‘ “Tell Me Something Good” with Remi Wolf. This year, he shared the stage with Bleachers for their track “Goodmorning” and took lead vocals on a cover of Jonathan Richman‘s “That Summer Feeling”, joined by indie artists Claud, Samia, Annie DiRusso, and Hank Heaven. He returned to the stage later for a collaborative performance of Judee Sill‘s 1971 tune “Lopin’ Along Through The Cosmos” featuring Florence Welch, Hayley Williams, and Bleachers.

Florence Welch made her Talent Show debut, delivering “Dog Days Are Over” and “Free” backed by Bleachers and multiple guest vocalists. Actress Rachel Zegler, who recently starred in Disney‘s live-action musical remake of Snow White, sang Joni Mitchell‘s “River”, while Rainey Qualley (Antonoff’s sister-in-law) performed “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. Hayley Williams contributed her tracks “Good Ol’ Days” and “Love Me Different” before closing the night with Bleachers on their traditional finale, “Merry Christmas, Please Don’t Call”.

Trey Anastasio joined Bleachers on their song “Goodmorning,” as well as a cover of Jonathan Richman’s not-exactly-seasonal “That Summer Feeling.” Anastasio sang lead on the Richman cover, with Claud, Samia, Annie DiRusso, and Hank Heaven joining in.
After Anastasio’s appearance, Hayley Williams joined Bleachers to perform her songs “Good Ol’ Days” and “Love Me Different.” Williams, it’s worth noting, is donating one dollar from every ticket sale on her 2026 tour to the Ally Coalition.
The night ended with Williams joining Bleachers for “Merry Christmas, Please Don’t Call,” which has become the traditional closing number for the Ally Coalition Talent Show.
Shout out to one IronChefWong for putting basically the entire show on YouTube.
