Back in 2015, Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio put his Palisades, NY home on the market for $2,995,000. Anastasio bought the house in 2009 from Sopranos actress Lorraine Bracco, nestled in the pristine Snedens Landing neighborhood that is known for its “star-studded history” as a “haven for the rich and famous,” according to Realtor.com. Now, after finishing up a four-night run at Madison Square Garden to close out 2017, the Anastasio family has slashed the price by $700K down to $2.3 million.

The 2,120-square-foot “Cliff House” is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 1960 home built upon two acres of pristine land in the Hudson Valley. With waterfront views from every room in the house, and only 25 minutes from downtown New York City, the property is “filled with mature trees and eagles soaring overhead.” The home, purchased by Anastasio at $2.7 million, was listed for $4.4 million in 2004.

While Anastasio didn’t comment on the home, the agent Richard Ellis certainly spoke at length about the property when it was first listed in 2015:

“Cliff House is an extraordinary Hudson riverfront home located next to 2,500 acres of pristine, riverfront parkland, and only 25 minutes to New York City… the home is completely private and offers a Mid-Century vibe. Lots of fireplaces, decks, and a great yard that feels like you’re sitting in a park, looking out at the river. You even get your own private, rocky cove on the Hudson. A perfect getaway.”
