With the release of his new album just two weeks away, New Orleans jazz institution Trombone Shorty has shared the album’s fourth and final single, “Everybody in the World”. Featuring the explosive sounds of New Breed Brass Band, the song explores the universal human need to be loved and accepted.

Trombone Shorty recently won his first Grammy Award for his contributions as a songwriter and featured artist on Jon Batiste‘s Album of the Year, We Are, and he also joined Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews, Jonas Brothers, and Little Big Town to perform at the Grammy Salute to Paul Simon, which will air on CBS later this year.

Having previously shared “Come Back”, “Lifted”, and a music video for “What It Takes” featuring fellow Louisiana musician Lauren Daigle on vocals, Trombone Shorty has offered fans the final preview of his new album, Lifted, before its April 29th release with the catchy and uplifting “Everybody in the World”. “Everybody in the world is looking for everyday love,” the song reminds listeners as brass blares over a second-line/hip-hop drum beat.
