Turkuaz Details 2019 Colorado New Year's Run

On Tuesday, nine-piece Brooklyn-based funk outfit Turkuaz detailed their full 2019 Colorado New Year’s run with the addition of three performances. The new announcement comes on the heels of the band’s previously announced annual New Year’s Eve The Ball Drop celebration, set for December 31st at Boulder’s Boulder Theater. Turkuaz’s entire New Year’s run will feature support from Swaktins & The Positive Agenda, fronted by Steve Swatkins (Allen Stone).

Turkuaz will open up their 2019 Colorado New Year’s run with a performance at Fort Collins’ Aggie Theatre on December 27th. The band will then head to Frisco’s 10 Mile Music Hall for a pair of performances on December 28th and 29th. Following a night off, the band will ring in 2020 at Boulder’s Boulder Theater on December 31st.

Each year since 2014, Turkuaz has celebrated The Ball Drop at various venues around the Northeast. Now, the colorful outfit’s year-end celebration is heading west to Colorado for the very first time.

“Each year, The Ball Drop is a special event for Turkuaz and an amazing opportunity to have all our friends and fans alike under one roof–and this year will be no exception,” Turkuaz frontman Dave Brandwein explained in a press statement. “For the first time, we’re holding the celebration outside of the greater Northeast, we couldn’t think of a better place than Colorado. With our good friend Steve Swatkins joining the bill, this night will certainly be a party to remember!”

Fan pre-sale tickets with lower fees are now available here ahead of the general public on-sale this Friday, September 20th at 10 a.m. (MST).
