With moe.‘s unfortunate and sudden hiatus due to bassist Rob Derhak‘s recent diagnosis of oropharyngeal cancer, the band was forced to cancel their upcoming and highly anticipated Red Rocks Amphitheatre show. Twiddle, who was also on the bill for the night, will keep the positive vibes of the weekend alive with their plans to continue on with a two-night run at the Boulder Theater. On Friday, August 11th, Twiddle will be joined by Bozeman, Montana-based bluegrass outfit Kitchen Dwellers, while Saturday, August 12th, will see the Vermonters perform with the high-flying Baltimore-born funk ensemble, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong (purchase tickets here).

In a statement with regards to the shows, Twiddle announced they will play special collaborative sets with each supporting band both night: “We are thrilled to announce we’re playing two nights at the Boulder Theater on August 11 and 12 with two very special guests, Kitchen Dwellers and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. On August 11, please join us for a Kitchen Dwellers opening set, followed by a huge Twiddle set, and then a very special Twiddle Kitchen Dwellers Bluegrass set to close the night!  On August 12, we have an opening set by Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, followed by a huge Twiddle set and we finish the weekend off with a rare Twiddle x Pigeons collab set!

Single-day passes for the Boulder Theater shows are currently on-sale (and moving fast!) and can be purchased here. For show updates and additional information, join the Facebook Event pages for August 11th with Kitchen Dwellers here, and August 12th with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong here.
