Rising jam acts Twiddle and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced a co-headlining Red Rocks Amphitheatre show, on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019. Bozeman, MT-based jamgrass outfit the Kitchen Dwellers will handle the evening’s opening duties. This show marks Twiddle’s second headlining Red Rocks performance, and PPPP’s first headlining Red Rocks gig. Pigeons opened for moe. at the historic Morrison, CO venue last July. The newly announced gig marks Kitchen Dwellers debut Red Rocks Amphitheatre performance.
Twiddle and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are no strangers to each other, having played a number of shows and festivals together over the years. Twiddle’s lead guitarist Mihali Savoulidis notes, “What’s really cool about this show is that we and the Pigeons have been friends and playing together for years when we were drawing 200 people and now, 5 years later, we are headlining Red Rocks together.”
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong frontman and guitarist Greg Ormont adds, “Words cannot express our excitement to play Red Rocks again. Not only do we get to rock out at one the best venues in the world, but we get to do it alongside our longtime friends Twiddle. We’ve played some shows in Colorado together before, but co-headlining at Red Rocks is the next level. We’re super grateful for the opportunity and beyond ready for this dream to come true.”
Tickets go on sale to the public beginning this Friday, October 26th at 10 a.m. (MST) here.
