Kentucky’s own Tyler Childers has added a batch of headlining tour dates in March and April of 2019, as the rising country star continues to hit the road hard in support of his recent studio release, Purgatory.
Tyler Childers will open up the newly added run of shows with a two-night stand at Covington, KY’s Madison Theater (3/27 & 3/28), before stops at Peoria, IL’s Monarch Music Hall (3/30); and Bloomington, IN’s Bluebird Nightclub (3/31).
Childers will then play a five-night run in Texas, with stops at Fort Worth’s Billy Bob’s (4/5); Austin’s Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater (4/6); Houston’s The Lawn at White Oak Music Hall (4/11); followed by a two-night stand at New Braunfels’s WhiteWater Amphitheater, as the youngster will open for country legend Willie Nelson.
Childers will then head east with performances at Baton Rouge, LA’s Varsity Theatre (4/16); New Orleans, LA’s Civic Theatre (4/17); Mobile, AL’s Soul Kitchen (4/19); Columbia, SC’s The Senate (4/20); Charleston, SC’s Charleston Music Hall (4/24); Wilkesboro, NC’s Merlefest (4/26); and a tour closing show at Rocky Mount, VA’s Harvester Performance Center (4/28).
