Umphrey’s McGee is gearing up for a busy 2018, which will mark their 20th year together as a band. In honor of the forthcoming anniversary, Umphrey’s will release the previously announced album it’s not us on January 12th. In celebration of this new release,  on January 14th, the band will honor the occasion with an intimate album release party at Park West in Chicago. Described as an “intimate, storytellers-style” format, the album release party will see the band playing songs from the new album and taking the time to explain the stories behind them while also mixing in some of their classic material. The studio version of it’s not us will also be broadcast over the Park West P.A. after the show with visual accompaniment by lighting director Jefferson Waful, for guests to get a full listen to the album.

Tickets for Umphrey’s McGee album release party for it’s not us go on sale Friday, November 3rd, at 10 am (CST) via UM Ticketing. Only 750 tickets will be available, with each ticket also coming with a deluxe edition of the new album, featurin a 72-page color book, a disc of unreleased material, and a leather-bound case.
