After the triumphant success of the “Making Lemonade” event in St. Augustine, FL, Umphrey’s McGee and Lettuce are again reuniting for a brief tour this summer. Presented by Live for Live Music, their first show together will be at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, making July 17th a night fans won’t soon forget.
Umphrey’s McGee is on fire in 2015! From UMBowls to London Sessions and everything in between, UM continues to set the bar a bit higher every night. Live for Live Music had the pleasure of partnering with Umphrey’s for some behind-the-scenes coverage of their 2015 winter tour, as the members of the band contributed various clips and commentaries from the road. Never ones to slow down, UM kept the energy going throughout spring and has a big summer ahead of them, with appearances at Wakarusa, CounterPoint, The Werk Out, Lockn’, and of course, Summer Camp.
Of course, who can forget L4LM’s partnership with Lettuce on their 2014 fall tour? This is one seriously funky band, and their dedication to the groove pays off in a big way. The blaring horns and thick basslines merge together miraculously, and the result is a throwdown for the ages. They’re also gearing up for a big summer, with spots at All Good, Electric Forest, Firefly, Catskill Chill, Gathering of the Vibes and so many more.
