Umphrey’s McGee has just announced three glorious additions to their winter/spring 2016 tour. The band will perform three nights at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN, jamming out from April 28-30 at the historic venue. Considering Prince shot Purple Rain predominantly at First Avenue, it will be interesting to see what tricks the band has in store.
Tickets to the shows will go on sale this Friday, January 22nd, and more information can be found on the band’s website.
Incidentally, January 22nd marks the band’s second night at the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY, as well as the group’s exciting TAUKing McGee afterparty at BB King Blues Club just a few blocks away.
