On Friday night, Umphrey’s McGee continued their 2019 fall tour with their second of three performances at Athens, GA’s Georgia Theatre.

After kicking off the first set with “The Silent Type”, Umphrey’s worked through fan-favorites “No Diablo” and “Hurt Bird Bath”. The set continued from there with a two-song combo of “Night Nurse” into “Mail Package”, which was followed up by a pairing of Ween‘s “Transdermal Celebration” into “Puppet String” to close out the set. UM last played the Ween track during a performance at Asbury Park’s Stone Pony Summerstage in July 2017, a gap of 200 shows.

Following a brief setbreak, Umphrey’s McGee returned to open their second set with a pairing of “Nothing To Fancy” into “Hangover”, with the former left open-ended. The sextet continued on with “Looks” and a smooth-segued pairing of “FF” into “Conduit” before returning to “Nothing Too Fancy” to close out the second set. The band reemerged and delivered a lone encore of David Bowie‘s “Let’s Dance”.
