On Saturday, the inaugural 4848 Festival at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, WV wrapped up with performances by Umphrey’s McGeeRailroad EarthTurkuazFruitionThe Nth PowerThe Ghost of Paul Revere, and more.

The diverse lineup for the event featured a mix of rock, jam, and funk acts alongside plenty of great bluegrass, so it was only fitting that Umphrey’s McGee got into the pickin’ spirit for their Saturday headlining set. For the second-to-last song of their set, Umphrey’s welcomed Paul Hoffman (mandolin) and Anders Beck (dobro) of Greensky Bluegrass and young guitar standout Billy Strings to assist on UM favorite “Nothing Too Fancy”, each of them taking their time in the spotlight with a solo.
