Umphrey’s McGee has added a pair of shows at New Haven, CT’s Westville Music Bowl to the band’s upcoming Plan Bee Spring Tour. The prog-jam veterans will take the stage at the new outdoor venue on Friday, May 7th and Saturday, May 8th.
Tickets for the two Umphrey’s McGee shows at the New Haven stadium will be sold in two-seat and four-seat pods beginning this Thursday, April 8th at 12:00 p.m. ET. For ticketing links and more information, head here.
The two Westville Music Bowl shows in early May join previously announced Umphrey’s McGee Plan Bee Spring Tour dates at Hampton, GA’s Atlanta Motor Speedway (4/30, 5/1), Bridgeview, IL’s SeatGeek Stadium (5/14, 5/15), and Detroit, MI’s Riverside Station Detroit (5/28, 5/29) as well as an appearance at Live Oak, FL’s Suwannee Rising Music Festival (5/8–5/10). Westville Music Bowl and its Twilight Concerts Under The Stars series have quickly emerged as a major hub for the extended jam band scene in the Northeast as socially distant touring becomes more commonplace. Bands set to roll through the venue this spring and summer include Gov’t Mule, Dinosaur Jr., Greensky Bluegrass, Goose, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, The Disco Biscuits, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Twiddle, and more.
