Umphrey’s McGee New Year’s Run Will Stream Live

Umphrey’s McGee will be streaming every night of their New Year’s run on the website StageIt, where artists broadcast live performances, offering fans an exclusive interactive experience.  All four shows from The Tabernacle in Atlanta will be shot through a HD camera with soundboard audio.

StageIt requires fans to become members of the site and purchase “notes”, a type of credit that can be used to buy streaming shows or to tip the performers. Every 10 notes is equivalent to one dollar.

The shows on the 28^th, 29^th, and 30^th are $6.00 a piece while the New Year’s Eve show is $8.00.  The top three fans that tip Umphrey’s the most during each concert will receive codes to download the shows MP3s.  The biggest tipper will receive a custom voice-message from the member of their choice.
