Come December 11th, Umphrey’s McGee will release ZONKEY, their first ever studio album to solely feature mash-up tracks. UM has incorporated mash-ups into their live shows for years, intricately weaving popular songs together through sharp musicality. ZONKEY takes that to the next level, as the band worked in the studio to deliver some great musical creations.
Among the many songs recorded was “Can’t Rock My Dream Face,” which includes portions of “Rock With You” (Michael Jackson) + “Can’t Feel My Face” (The Weeknd) + “Dreams” (Fleetwood Mac). The third single from the album was jsut released today, and can be streamed in the Spotify player below!
The first two singles, “National Loser Anthem” and “Life During Exodus,” can be streamed by following those links. You can also head to iTunes to download the tracks and pre-order the album!
