With the anticipation mounting for Umphrey’s McGee archival film Reel To Real, the band has been kind enough to release some footage of an unreleased, live version of “Plunger” from the band’s 2004 album Anchor Drops. Take a look below:
Reel To Real will be a great opportunity for hardcore Umphrey’s fan to get a look at the inner workings of the band, as it comprises unseen footage from the band’s camcorder archives and will take you on a journey into the early touring days of Umphrey’s McGee, everything from the recording of Anchor Drops to round-robin arm wrestling tournaments in a Super 8. This is sure to be a film you don’t want to miss!
A showing of the film is set for January 1st at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium. More info can be found here.
