The Chicago-based sextet kicked off the first set with “40’s Theme”, which originally appeared on Hopi Champa, the debut album from guitarist Jake Cinninger‘s old band, Ali Baba’s Tahini. A segue led to “White Man’s Moccasins” before another Ali Baba’s original, “Got Your Milk (Right Here)”.
“Out of Order”, from 2001’s One Fat Sucka album, came next and sat before “No Diablo” and “Soul Food II”. “Women Wine and Song” set up a jam section that segued to “Higgins” and capped the first set.

“Nothing Too Fancy”, which appears on 2002’s Local Band Does O.K., opened set two before “Much Obliged” segued to the Songs for Older Women track, “Hajimemashite”. The Cinninger and Ryan Stasik-penned “Ringo” preceded “Wife Soup” and set up a run through “The Linear” before returning to the set opener, “Nothing Too Fancy”.
Following a short break, Umphrey’s made their way back to the stage for a two-song encore that began with a cover of Paul Simon’s “Graceland”, an ode to the venue and city of Memphis, and led to the show-ending “Glory”.
