Earlier last week, we reported on a missing persons case involving a fan who was heading to Saratoga Springs, NY to see Phish over July 4th weekend. Jason Czech, 39, was reported missing on July 2nd, after leaving for the Phish run on July 1st. He had not been heard from or seen since, and, while many were hoping that Czech had simply gone on tour, it appears the reality is much more tragic.
According to new reports from Branford Police Department Captain Geoff Morgan, Czech’s car was discovered near his hometown in Meriden, CT, along with the body of a deceased person inside the vehicle. A full medical examination will be necessary to confirm the identity of the body, but it is assumed to be Czech’s, considering the circumstances.
Meriden Police have located the car of Jason Czech containing a deceased person. Medical Examiner will have to determine identity.
