Bass Extremes, the collaborative project from revered bassists and music educators Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey, will head to Denver, CO for a performance at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on Saturday, November 19th. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 29th at 11:00 a.m. MT here.

Victor Wooten, the five-time Grammy winner and founding member of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, and Steve Bailey, the pioneering six-string fretless bassist and Chair of the Berklee College of Music Bass Department, founded Bass Extremes in 1992. Their self-titled debut remains one of the top-selling musical/instructional bass products of all time.

Wooten and Bailey are also well known and respected as a dynamic teaching duo who continue to teach together at events, colleges, and universities around the world. They were also instrumental in introducing the original “Bass Camp” idea when they ran their first bass/nature camp in Tennessee back in 2000.

The November 19th show in Denver will come as part of a lengthy national tour featuring drummer Derico Watson in support of the forthcoming Bass Extremes LP, S’Low Down. Due out on August 26th, the new Bass Extremes album will feature a slew of additional guest bassists including Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), Joe Dart (Vulfpeck), Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company), Bootsy Collins (Parliament-Funkadelic), Marcus Miller (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock), Ron Carter, and more. The group recently released the album’s first single, “Home Bass“.
