Tomas Magic Presents has announced details of the Virgin Islands Shakedown, a four-night celebration of the Grateful Dead, moe., and more set to take place November 17th–20th at The Fred, a boutique beachfront resort in Frederiksted on the island of St. Croix. The tropical destination festival will feature a stacked lineup of performers including four sets from The Dire Wolves featuring Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico of moe., Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident, Mark Joseph of The Big Wu, and Steve Molitz of Particle/Phil Lesh, as well as Blue Star Radiation featuring Rob Derhak and Vinnie Amico of moe., Tim Palmieri of Lotus, and Nate Wilson of Percy Hill.

In addition to four nights of music, the Virgin Islands Shakedown will host day and late-night VIP sets including a late-night DJ set by League of Sound Disciples, a.k.a. The String Cheese Incident’s Jason Hann. Joel Cummins of Umphrey’s McGee, Hash of Thievery Corporation, and Janis Wallin of Family Groove Company will also be on hand as special guests.

With rooms at The Fred just steps away from the resort’s pool, beach, bar, and spa, attendees can sit poolside, catch the day sets in the main courtyard, and then stay for the late-night DJ set and after-parties. “All you’ll need to do is walk outside your room to join in and get down,” festival organizers said in a press release.

General admission, VIP passes, and The Fred VIP room packages go on sale this Friday, September 2nd at 10 a.m. ET here. The Fred VIP Packages include a four-night stay at the resort (for 2 guests, with options to add more), admission to all festival events/shows, and more.
