Gov’t Mule and ZZ Top have been touring together for the last few days, with fans wondering just when a sit-in will occur. It finally happened last night, when the two bands brought their wares to the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO.
After an opening set of Gov’t Mule classics, ZZ Top put together a hit parade setlist with a number of their rocking tunes. Guitarist Warren Haynes made his curtain call during ZZ Top’s encore, adding some firepower to the Elvis Presley classic, “Jailhouse Rock.”
