Warren Haynes led one of the most incredible performances at Gathering of the Vibes last night, bringing along some of the most renowned musicians in the scene for an all-out jam session. With George Porter Jr. (The Meters), Jackie Greene, Marco Benevento, Joe Russo, and Branford Marsalis in the fold, the group kicked off with a funky “Solomon’s Marbles” jam and never stopped rocking.
The set included “Sneakin’ Sally Through The Alley”, “Karma Police” with a “Paranoid Android” jam, Traffic’s “Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys”, Toto’s “Africa”, the Allman Brothers Band’s “Dreams”, and so many more. They were also joined by Eric Krasno for “Get Out Of My Live Woman”, “Africa”, and “Karma Police”, while Nigel Hall joined in for “River’s Gonna Rise”.
