Warren Haynes will play Jerry Garcia’s infamous Wolf guitar during The Symphonic Celebration of Jerry Garcia tour. The orchestral performance is meant to celebrate the Grateful Dead icon and starts today in Pittsburgh, PA. Garcia debuted Wolf in 1973 when guitar-maker Doug Irwin first created it. It was played throughout the 70s and then again after it was remodeled in the late-80s. Haynes will play Garcia’s guitar throughout this tour as many other guitarist-friends of the Dead have in the past.
