Gem & Jam Festival was held this past weekend in Arizona, bringing some of the best and brightest out to the three day festival. While the fest’s performances were fantastic, this late night show after the final night (aka 5 AM on Monday, February 15th) really caught our attention. While only Marvel Years was scheduled to play a set at that time slot, a number of great musicians join in the fun, including Exmag, Manic Focus and Adam Deitch, drummer for Lettuce, Break Science and more.
Thanks to Zach Wichmann, we have footage of the late night jam. It seems to be a live remix of Sam Cooke’s classic “Stand By Me,” for what can only be described as a wholehearted dance party. Enjoy:
