Fans who came out to see Joe Grushecky at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ were in for a big surprise last night, as legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen came out after three songs and stuck around for a majority of the two-hour, 15-song set.

While the appearance was unannounced,Grushecky and Springsteen have a long history together, with Springsteen joining Grushecky nearly every year at the annual Light of Day benefit event. Rolling Stone reports that the group played “Never Enough Time”, “Adam Raised a Cain”, “Atlantic City”, “Because the Night”, “Code of Silence”, “Darkness On The Edge of Town”, “Light of Day” and more.
