Watch Chris Cornell’s Acoustic Performance Of Prince’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’

For an intimate performance at the SiriusXM studios, Soundgarden guitarist Chris Cornell busted out the acoustic guitar and performed a cover of Prince’s classic tune, “Nothing Compares 2 U”. The stripped-down version comes off as soulful and authentic, as Cornell dominates the scene with his presence.

The song was recorded as part of a feature with Cornell that will air on Sirius XM’s Lithium station, which focuses on grunge rock and 90’s alternative music. The full segment also included an interview with Cornell, but this acoustic performance really took the cake. Nicely done Cornell!
