Last weekend, Jason Isbell hit the famed Saenger Theatre in Mobile, AL for a performance with his band The 400 Unit. Isbell is an Alabama native, and naturally wanted to spend a little extra time in his home state. With some spare time to go before the band’s next shows in New Orleans, LA, Isbell brought his crew out to a small establishment called Veet’s Bar for some late night fun.

While at the bar, Isbell set up shop with his 400 Unit bandmates Sadler Vaden and Chad Gamble, as well as Joe Anderson of the house band, and treated fans to a performance of the Allman Brothers Band classic, “Midnight Rider.” Watch the video of his performance below, courtesy of Joe Anderson on YouTube.
