We’ve been following the story of Phish drummer Jon Fishman’s nomination for the Syracuse Area Music (SAMMYs) Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, and last night, Fishman was on-hand to receive the award at the ceremony.
Watch as Fishman, not dressed a pink-and-purple muumuu, gives the speech to accept the award. Fish talks about how he’s nervous, and how his 0.36 GPA led him down the road to becoming the drummer for one of the most successful jam bands of all time.
