When Temple Of The Dog were preparing for their ongoing reunion tour, Chris Cornell spoke about giving the band an opportunity to shine at major venues. Last night, 25 years in the making, the band took the stage and gave Madison Square Garden the rock and roll performance that they’d always wanted.
The show focused heavily on Mother Love Bone and Temple Of The Dog material, staggered in with covers of Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Mad Season, Led Zeppelin, The Cure, and Black Sabbath. Through the one major set and double encore, this exciting super group had fans enraptured as they rocked the Garden.
