Last night marked the first night of the two-night tribute to David Bowie at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY. Organized by Michael Dorf, the “Music Of” series has run for many years and celebrated the works of artists like The Who, Paul Simon, David Byrne and more. The show was not initially intended as a tribute to Bowie, though the singer’s passing added a considerable amount of emotion to the performance.
