Perhaps one of the more intriguing entries from the Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival lineup was the Chris Robinson Soulive Revue, a one-off performance pairing the funk-soul stylings of the Soulive trio with the soulful-rock sound of Black Crowes and Chris Robinson Brotherhood guitarist Chris Robinson.

The set was massively successful, as the group brought out a wide array of musical guests throughout, including George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Bernard Purdie, Oteil Burbridge, Roosevelt Collier, Alecia Chakour, Pee Wee Ellis and the Lettuce horns. The band worked through a number of classic tunes, including the Dead’s “West L.A. Fadeaway” and “Sugaree,” The Stones’ “Gimme Shelter,” and more.
