Last week, Thundercat, the Los Angeles-based renaissance man known for his work as a producer, bassist, and singer, hit The Independent in San Francisco on the day before Valentine’s Day. During the show, Thundercat (aka Stephen Bruner) invited former Mars Volta drummer, Thomas Pridgen, to the stage to join them and add his unreal beats to the mix.
