Vermont jam band Twiddle are never shy about tossing some fan-friendly covers into their setlists. The band infamously busted out “I Need More Allowance” from the hit 90’s Nickelodeon show Doug earlier in the year, and kept the theme alive earlier this weekend.

The band settled in to the College Street Music Hall, treating fans to a guest-filled two night run at the New Haven, CT venue. Among the many highlights from the night was a performance of “Walk Hard,” the title track of 2007 film Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. With Chuck Jones of Dopapod joining in on bass, Twiddle made the fun country-western tune their own. It was only the second time that the band had ever played the tune.

Fortunately, thanks to William Corcoran, we can share full video of “Walk Hard.” Enjoy it below.

The band also broke out into a major “Eyes of the World” jam at the end of the first set with guitarist Tim Palmieri of Kung Fu/RAQ, which you can also watch below.

Check out the full uTwiddle setlist from both nights of the run, posted below.
