Last night, following a performance at Bluestem Amphitheatre in Moorhead, MN on Thursday, Ween continued their Labor Day weekend festivities with a performance at Lincoln, NE’s Pinewood Bowl Theater. As they are known to do, the band–comprised of Dean Ween (Mickey Melchiondo), Gene Ween (Aaron Freeman), Dave DreiwitzClaude Coleman Jr. and Glenn McClelland–delivered a crowd-pleasing mix of their most well-known tunes and rare deep cuts over the course of their 25-song performance.

One of the night’s biggest surprises came midway through the set, when Gener and Deaner brought out acoustic guitars for a six-song stretch that included “Chocolate Town,” “Tried and True,” “What Deaner Was Talkin’ About,” “Kim Smoltz,” and “Piss Up A Rope.”

Finally, after sending off their set proper with “Buenas Tardes Amigo,” the band returned for a four-song encore including “I’m Dancing In The Show Tonight,” “Learnin’ To Love,” “The HIV Song,” and Emerson, Lake and Palmer‘s “Lucky Man” from their eponymous 1970 debut album–Ween’s first crack at the tune since a trio of renditions in 2011.

You can watch fan-shot videos from the performance below.

Next up for Ween is their set at the ongoing North Coast Music Festival in Chicago tomorrow, September 3rd, followed by a pair of shows in San Francisco later this month. For a full list of upcoming Ween dates, head to the band’s website.
