Southern jammers Widespread Panic have confirmed dates for their 2014 spring tour, and have announced that they will be appearing for two nights at the Lock’n Festival in September. The band’s spring tour will feature two legs, the first of which will be entirely acoustic. Dubbed the “Wood” tour, Widespread Panic debuted the format in 2012 with a tour and live album, much to fans’ delight.

The first six shows of the tour run through the South, and are part of the Wood Tour. From there, the band heads to Dominican Republic for their third “Panic en la Playa” run. WSP have then scheduled a rare west coast leg of the tour, stopping in Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada. The run concludes at the Azalea Festival in North Carolina.

No word on any shows between April and September yet, but the band is confirmed for two nights at the Lock’n Festival.

Tickets for the Panic en la Playa, Azalea Festival, and Lock’n Festival are already on sale. For all other dates, tickets go on sale this weekend. For more info, jump on over to www.widespreadpanic.com/tour.
