Widespread Panic Announces First Montana Shows In 10 Years

Widespread Panic has announced a two-night run at Bonner, MT’s Kettlehouse Amphitheater on July 7th and 8th, 2026. The two-show stint will serve as the Athens, GA rockers’ first visit to Montana in more than a decade and their third in the last 20 years [get tickets].

WSP’s last trip to Big Sky Country came way back in 2016, when the group played a one-off show at Missoula’s Ogren Park at Allegiance Field. Prior to that, Widespread Panic’s most recent Montana shows came in July 2013 and October 2007, respectively.

With Jimmy Herring still sidelined due an ongoing battle with throat cancer, fans can expect John Bell (vocals, guitar), Dave Schools (bass, vocals), JoJo Hermann (keys, vocals), Duane Trucks (drums), and Domingo “Sunny” Ortiz (percussion) to be joined by Nick Johnson on lead guitar pending any further updates.

Pre-sale tickets for Widespread Panic at Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner, MT become available beginning on Thursday, March 12th at 10:00 a.m. MT ahead of a general on-sale on Friday, March 13th at 10:00 a.m. MT here.

Widespread Panic has a busy year ahead, with tour dates stretching from spring through summer. Upcoming shows include a three-night run at St. Augustine Amphitheatre in March, followed by two nights in Birmingham, AL in April. From there, the group will appear at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival before heading to Las Vegas for three nights at The Theater at Virgin Hotels. The band is also set to headline All Good Now Festival ahead of its annual return to Morrison, CO’s storied Red Rocks Amphitheatre for three nights in June.
