The Pabst Theater Group will host free outdoor street parties before this weekend’s three sold-out Widespread Panic shows at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, WI.
Starting at 4:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on Wisconsin Avenue just outside the venue, the pre-parties will be open to the public and feature musical performances by Steez (Friday 10/20), Spare Change Trio (Saturday 10/21), and Modern Joey (Sunday 10/22).
The Milwaukee run marks Panic’s first return to the road after a month off and the band’s last shows before it caps off the year with Halloween and New Year’s runs in Savannah, GA and Atlanta respectively. Notably, the Halloween run arrives early on October 27th and 28th, after which drummer Duane Trucks will join Billy Strings on the 31st for his wrestling-themed Van Andel Scramble in Grand Rapids, MI. The New Year’s shows on December 29th–30th are already sold out. The band also just added three shows in St. Louis in January, with tickets on sale Friday, November 3rd, and will host the 12th edition of Panic en la Playa April 14th–17th in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
