Widespread Panic kicked off their first of two performances at the Asheville Music Center in Asheville, NC last night, playing music new and old to an enthusiastic crowd. The band got some help from Steep Canyon Rangers fiddler Nicky Sanders, who joined in the festivities for a majority of the performance.
Sanders came out during the last four songs of the first set, and stayed for a majority of set two and the encore as well! As it turns out, Widespread Panic sounds great with some bluegrass lovin’.
