On Sunday night, Wilco continued their extensive 2019 fall tour with a performance at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Steel. Following a show at Radio City Music Hall the night prior, the Brooklyn show came as Wilco continues to tour in support of their brand new album, Ode To Joy, which arrived on October 4th via the band’s own dBpm Records. The new album marks Wilco’s first LP since 2016’s Schmilco.

Wilco’s 24-song set included Ode To Joy‘s “Bright Leaves”, Before Us”, “One and a Half Stars”, “Everyone Hides”, “White Wooden Cross”, “We Were Lucky”, “Love Is Everywhere (Beware), and “Hold Me Anyway. The band—comprised of guitarists Jeff Tweedy and Nels Cline, bassist John Stirratt, drummer Glenn Kotche, keyboardist Mikael Jorgensen, and multi-instrumentalist Patrick Sansone—also worked through a number of fan-favorites including “War on War”, “Handshake Drugs”, “Impossible Germany”, “Box Full of Letters”, “Heavy Metal Drummer”, and a cover of Loose Fur‘s “Laminated Cat”.
