Willie Nelson and his two sons, Micah and Lukas have released a video of the trio performing “Just Outside of Austin” from the family’s living room last week as part of the “Quarantunes Evening Session”.

“Yeah, I love this song,” Willie said as Lukas started into the tune, which originally appeared on he and his band’s self-titled 2010 album, Promise of the Real. Â Micah provided some lead licks on his acoustic as Lukas began singing the first verse, before tapping on his guitar, adding a percussive rhythm. Willie added some licks and backing vocals of his own throughout the song before Lukas instructed him to “Take one, dad.” A few measures of some good ol’ Willie soloing led to the song’s final chorus where all three harmonized on vocals.

In other Willie Nelson news, the country icon recently announced that he will host a virtual variety show on 4/20, dubbed Come and Toke It. The broadcast will raise money for the Last Prisoner Project, a nonprofit coalition of industry leaders, executives, and artists dedicated to bringing restorative justice to the cannabis industry and marijuana offenders.
