In continued celebration of his 90th birthday, Willie Nelson will stage the largest edition of his traveling Outlaw Music Festival to date in 2023. Presented by Nelson alongside Blackbird Presents and Live Nation, the festival will showcase a wide-ranging lineup topped by Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, John Fogerty, and of course Willie Nelson & Family.
As is tradition, Outlaw Fest will highlight the far-reaching influence Nelson has on contemporary music. Neo-soul outfit Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will appear alongside blues jam heavyweights Gov’t Mule and Marcus King. Willie’s country disciples Whiskey Myers and Margo Price will also perform side-by-side with bluegrass artists Trampled By Turtles and Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway.
Further down the lineup, slack-rockers Kurt Vile And The Violators add some indie grooves along with Willie’s own flesh and blood Particle Kid (Micah Nelson). Also appearing at Outlaw Festival on select stops are Kathleen Edwards, Flatland Cavalry, and Brittney Spencer.
“I can’t wait to be on the road with the amazing group of artists joining us on this year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” Willie Nelson said. “It is always a great day of music and fun with family, friends and the incredible fans, and even more special this year in celebration of my 90th birthday.”
